A Swing & Classic Repertoire
The Sweet Peppers offer you a unique interpretation of the Master pieces from the Classical Music Repertoire. The works are arranged by the musicians of the band themselves who find their inspiration in the excellent orchestra John Kirby Sextet, sometimes nicknamed "Jazz Chamber Orchestra", which was florishing between 1938 and 1941. The Sweet Peppers gives an homage to their music by re-arranging the works of Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Dukas, Albinoni and many others and give them a new freshness. These tunes, which you will recognize for sure, will never sound like they did before to your ears.


A Traditional Jazz repertoire
Because above all, the musicians of The Sweet Peppers are passionate about Jazz, their repertoire contains a selection of Traditional Jazz standards interpreted with accuracy and respect for tradition. In the spotlight: King Oliver, Clarence Williams, Jelly Roll Morton, Jimmie Noone, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, and many others ... You will surely recognize a few tunes and also discover true forgotten gems of the Jazz repertoire. To the singular sounds of the musicians and their instrument are added the surprising voices of Audrey and Sami which will not leave you without a certain nostalgia for a forgotten era.
